On the bathroom remodel, I would like to install the vertical lighting on either side of the medicine cabinet as per numerous lighting designers recommendations. Unfortunately, the available space on either side of the cabinet is limited to no more than 3", which has surprisingly restricted the choices so far to about zero. I would prefer fluorscent lamps with diffusers and brass base units along with electronic ballasts. After too many hours trollling the net and visits to local lighting shops and way too many catalogs, still no luck.
